Gourmetgreens offer local, fresh and the finest microgreens to fine dining restaurants, caterers and hotels . Our indoor farm is located in Cape Town Northern Suburbs, where we grow the highest quality microgreens with a focus on organic food production. The seed that we use is GMO free and no herbicides or fungicides are being used.

What are microgreens
Microgreens are young seedlings of greens and herbs. They are packed full of flavour, colour and lots of smiles when you see them on your plate. Microgreens are also known for their health and disease benefits. These little guys are loaded with vitamins A, B, C, E and K, potassium, calcium and antioxidants depending on the variety type, respectively. With this in mind, adding these little guys to your salad or smoothie will help you to get those important nutrients you need for a healthy lifestyle.
Availability
Microgreens are fine delicate greens, we therefore maintain very little microgreens that are freely available in stock, but by special ordering, we can grow your choice of available varieties and deliver them exactly when you need them. We deliver them as living or cut and packed microgreens that require the chef and the grower to work one on one with each other.
Delivery will be made on every Tuesday and Thursday
Please note: Some varieties do take longer to grow; sweet basil require 18-28 days in the summer and 21-35 days in the winter. Other varieties can be provided with 2 weeks’ notice.
